Armed Suspect Killed In Deputy-Concerned Taking pictures In Unincorporated LA – CBS Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – Authorities investigated the circumstances of a fatal shooting in an unincorporated Los Angeles area on Sunday.

South Los Angeles Station deputies responded to the 4400 block on W. 104th Street shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday after a gunshot victim was reported.

When they arrived, they found a man standing near a driveway, allegedly holding a gun. This resulted in the first of two proxy shootings.

After that, MPs issued orders to the suspect, who they said refused to obey, and tried again to raise his gun, which sparked the second shooting in which the MP was involved.

The suspect was shot down and pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities say they recovered two handguns on site.

An investigation is ongoing. Those with more information were asked to call (323) 890-5500.
