Brewers purchase outfielder Derek Fisher from Blue Jays | Sports activities
MILWAUKEE (AP) – The Milwaukee Brewers have acquired outfielder Derek Fisher from the Toronto Blue Jays for cash and a player to be named.
Both teams announced the deal on Monday evening.
He has a career hit average of .194 with an OPS of .662, 17 homers and 52 RBIs in 168 games. He began his Major League career in 2017 with the Houston Astros and was dispatched to Toronto at the close of trading on July 31, 2019.
Fisher is a right-handed and left-handed person who has MLB experience in all three outfield positions. He spent most of the time in the left field.
After this season, Fisher can become divorced with 2 years and 61 days of service. Last season, he earned $ 214,667 on a pro-rated basis of his $ 579,000 salary.
