By trading with Wentz, the Eagles will save nearly $ 853,000 in cap space in 2021, but will have a dead-cap hit of $ 33.8 million for the coming season. That’s an NFL record that breaks the previous $ 22.2 million mark the Rams will see after trading with Jared Goff earlier this off-season.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
