Catalytic converter stolen off RV parked at Eureka enterprise | Police Fireplace

Eureka Police are investigating the theft of a catalytic converter that was cut off from a recreational vehicle parked outside a RV shop. The damage to the Four Winds Firecracker RV 2015 was estimated at $ 1,200, according to authorities.

The theft occurred between March 29 at 1:10 p.m. and April 9 at 6:00 p.m. at Byerly RV, 295 E. Fifth St. A 60-year-old Ballwin man left the motorhome at the store and it was the store parked in the parking lot behind when the catalyst was stolen, the report said.

As of April 23, the converter had not been recovered and no suspects were identified, Lt. Michael Werges. He asked anyone with information about the incident to call the Eureka Police at 636-938-6600.
