CraftFarm, rising a home made pure cleaning soap & skincare enterprise in Elmira | WETM

ELMIRA, NY (WETM-TV) – Above Main Street Bridge is a small shop on the south side of Elmira town. As soon as you enter, you will feel transported to a tropical oasis.

Allison Duncan, the owner of CraftFarm at 228 South Main Street, has been making soap for 5 years. What started as a winter hobby quickly turned into a small business.

Duncan brought the art of making soap to Elmira in October 2020. She changed the place and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The store serves as both manufacturing and retail space, allowing Duncan to expand her line of natural soap and skin care products.

“My biggest thing is, my soap is all natural,” said Duncan. “I don’t use palm oil, which is high in soap, and I don’t use skin care products. I load it with oils that are amazing for your skin. I think one thing that makes my soap stand out is my dyes, fragrances, and fragrances, all of which are made from natural essential oils or natural clays. “

The shop is open to the public on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or by appointment. You can also shop online and have your order shipped to you. With COIVD-19, you can make private purchases as well as roadside pickups by appointment during the week.
