Driver, 20, dies after crashing into enterprise check in Cellular

A 20-year-old died in a car accident in Mobile early Saturday morning after driving off the street and bumping into a shop sign.

Samuel Sellers Walker was pronounced dead by medical staff following the accident. The crash occurred around 1:57 a.m., according to the Mobile Police Department.

“He crossed the street, lost control, left the street, tipped over and then hit the Grand Slam shield before resting,” the department said in a statement on Saturday.

Walker was traveling west on Grelot Road when he crossed Hillcrest Road and lost control of his vehicle, police said.
