Few For All is donating to LA Meals Financial institution for these in want
Most recently, Curtis was the head chef at the Pilot Restaurant at the Hoxton Hotel in downtown LA until they closed due to COVID-19.
“This whole COVID-19 just hit the whole hospitality scene. It just broke it up,” Curtis said.
It was then that he and Budayr started “Few For All”, which stands for flour, eggs and water for everyone. Curtis and Budayr use their cooking skills and connections in the food industry to create fresh pasta for those in need.
For every amount of pasta they sell, they donate the same amount to the Los Angeles Food Bank and hospitality workers who are struggling during this time.
“Not only do we give groceries to the grocery bank, but we also offer free pasta to anyone who has lost their job in the food and beverage industry,” said Budayr.
“I love pasta, I have a deep passion for making pasta and I think it’s the best I can share right now,” Curtis told ABC7.
The cost of ingredients and supplies are personally financed by the couple.
“It’s a love job, just like anything with food and drink, and we’re really happy that we’re getting involved,” said Budayr.
