Forbes Faculty of Enterprise and Expertise® Launches UAGC Girls in STEM Scholar Group
SAN DIEGO, February 17, 2021 / PRNewswire / – The Forbes School of Business and Technology® at University of Arizona Global Campus is proud to announce the launch of the UAGC Women in STEM student organization and kick-off event on February 19, 2021 at the 1:00 p.m. (PT).
The topic of the UAGC Women in STEM Kickoff is Igniting Your STEM Success! We emphasize student commitment to industry leaders and have invited two high-profile industry speakers to this event. Dr. Priyanka Sharma from NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and a University of Arizona Alumna will provide words of inspiration and encouragement. DR. Cindy Gordon, CEO and Founder of SalesChoice Inc., an AI SaaS Advanced Sales Analytics company, will deliver the keynote message.
UAGC Women in STEM is a new student organization focused on STEM careers for women that includes the UAGC Women in Technology International Chapter and the UAGC Chapter of Girls Who Code – College Loop. DR. Karen IvyThe faculty advisor announced: “Our organization” Women in MINT “will improve the willingness of students and alumni to enter MINT career paths and achieve outstanding performance.”
“The Women in STEM organization will encourage more women to do STEM in an area where they remain underrepresented and provide opportunities to help plan their STEM trip,” he said Lisa Sims, Senior Faculty Advisor.
