Imatorbhebhe, Eifler signal with NFL groups following 2021 draft | Sports activities

Although Illinois recipient Josh Imatorbhebhe and linebacker Milo Eifler weren’t selected in the 2021 NFL Draft, they still managed to find a professional home on Saturday.

Imatorbhebhe signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Eifler with the New York Jets shortly after completing the three-day draft.

The now former Illinois has cracked the NFL ranks this week along with security guard Kendrick Green (drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round) and cornerback Nate Hobbs (drafted in the fifth round by the Las Vegas Raiders).

Imatorbhebhe started 18 games in two seasons in Illinois and got 12 touchdowns. His 46 1/2-inch vertical jump on the Illinois Pro Day would have set an NFL Combine record.

Eifler made two starts with the linebacker during two years with the Illinois and ended his career with 58 tackles, 13 1/2 tackles for the loss, three sacks and two pass deviations.
