Lady Going through Arson Costs in Pompano Seashore Enterprise Fireplace That Triggered Hundreds of thousands in Injury – NBC 6 South Florida
A woman was arrested in connection with a fire at a shop in Pompano Beach last year that caused millions of dollars in damage and destroyed several garbage trucks.
Saprell Frazier, 43, was arrested on Friday for 11 arson attacks and a burglary charge related to the October 18 fire in Waste Pro.
Broward Sheriff’s Office officials said a suspect forced his way into the store early in the morning by setting the gate on fire.
Surveillance material released by BSO showed the suspect carrying what appeared to be a gas canister before setting fire to a truck in the back of the property.
The suspect set several other garbage trucks on fire while returning to the front gate.
At one point, the suspect opened a door to a building in the store and placed a clear bottle of liquid on the floor before setting it on fire, officials said.
The suspect left the store and fled the scene in a black limousine. Officials said there was also a white SUV that was being used as a possible lookout.
The company said the fire resulted in the loss of 10-12 frontline garbage trucks valued at more than $ 3 million, with the majority being a total loss. Court records showed the total damage was over $ 4 million.
