From your wheels to your roof, there’s a brand new auto detailing shop up and running in town.
Husband and wife Jesse and Stephanie Shelton opened the Xpress Detail and Auto Spa at 980 Pahrump Valley Blvd. In early January, after discovering the need for bumper-to-bumper services that include ceramic plating, color grading, and headlight restoration.
Stephanie Shelton said the company offers multiple levels of detailing services, ranging from half a level to a premium level 3 detail job.
“Half-level detail service typically takes an hour to an hour and a half,” Shelton said. “Level one would be anywhere between two and two and a half hours. Our level 2 service would take more than two and a half to three and a half hours, and then our level 3 service could take more than four and a half hours. Our level 3 service includes leather care and we also take care of cracks or crevices. We describe it very well and somehow make it look brand new. “
Panel restoration is another service the company offers, according to Shelton.
“If you have a faded black panel on your vehicle, we can do a treatment that typically takes three to six months and is pretty inexpensive,” she noted. “We also maintain ATVs and offer special prices for this service. We kindly ask you to submit a quote for pricing, but it is relatively close to a half or level 1 level of detail service. “
Although appointments are recommended, Xpress Detail and Auto Spa are happy to welcome walk-in customers.
“We’ll schedule you as needed,” Shelton said. “We are located at 980 Pahrump Valley Blvd. right across from Drews Tire Pros and right next to Xpress Diesel and Auto.
General Manager Darcy Spaulding noted that customers do not need to prepare their vehicle before the detailing services.
“Customers could do us a favor by getting rid of unnecessary junk in the vehicle,” she said. “If there’s anything left in the vehicle that we think is valuable, or if we don’t think it’s valuable, we’ll put it in a bag for you so you really don’t have to make any preparations.”
Regarding the Sheltons’ earlier business backgrounds, they both also own Pahrump’s Xpress Diesel and Auto, which happen to be right next to Xpress Detail and Auto Spa.
Shelton also spoke about one of several ancillary services that may be of great interest to vehicle owners right now.
“We offer a service where we can basically kill all bacteria and viruses in your vehicle,” she said. “There is of course an additional fee for this. We’re also big supporters of the Pahrump Valley High School rodeo team. My husband Jesse actually did rodeo when he was a kid and during his young adult years, so he grew up with a rodeo lifestyle. “
