New beer provides again to these in want

BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) – Two popular WNY companies, 26 Shirts and Community Beer Works have teamed up to create a new beer that gives back.

The IPA Good intentions will be released on June 20th on Father’s Day at Community Beer Works. “It’s juicy, very lemony, a bit of awesome pine, and lots of peach flavors,” said Mike West, CBW’s social media manager.

26 shirts have designed the red-white-blue box so that it looks like a T-shirt, full of pride of the buffalo.

The name “good intentions” is no coincidence. “They know everything we do is done with the best of intentions and we thought it was a great name,” said Del Reid, founder of 26 Shirts. “Community Beer Works has a history of giving back to the community and 26 shirts is what we do.”

And you can relax with a glass, knowing that part of the proceeds will go directly to Feedmore WNY. “Because of COVID and everything else, Feedmore WNY requests for help have increased 50%, but even when there has not been an increase, there is always a great need for help,” Reid said.

The release event will take place on Father’s Day from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Community Beer Works in Buffalo. (520 7th Street, Buffalo, NY 14201)

26 Shirts will also host a pop-up event in the taproom that day. The first customers to buy goods will receive a free “good intentions” cap (while stocks last).
