PREP SPORTS ROUNDUP: Trojans defeat Eagles | Excessive Faculty Sports activities

The North Hardin boys’ basketball celebrated its sixth win of the season on the street in Louisville on Tuesday night. Against Evangel Christian, the Trojans returned home with a 93-62 win over the Eagles.

Kerron Blizzard led with 14 points. Queshaun Davis and Shaun Boykins followed with 13 points each. Jujuan Williams finished the game with 12 points. Elijah Reeves and Dontrell Gregory added 10 points each. Ayden Evans brought in seven points, just ahead of Elijah Washington with six points. Taveon Smith and Jalen Alfonso each scored three points. Darius Wiley scored two points.

North Hardin (6-5) receives Bardstown on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

ELIZABETHTOWN 91, CAL 78. Panthers # 5 took their ninth straight win on the street against the Centurions on Tuesday night.

Elizabethtown (11-1) travels to Barren County at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

LARUE COUNTY 53, BETHLEHEM 42. The Hawks added another win to their record Tuesday night with a home win over the Eagles. This was the third straight win since the season’s first loss to Elizabethtown on February 9.

Cutter Boley led with 15 points. Preston Self and Carson Childress followed with 12 points each. Jeremiah Belton earned 10 points.

LaRue County (10-1) travels to Caverna tonight for a 7pm matchup.

BULLITT CENTRAL 61, MEADE COUNTY 58. The Green Wave lost a tight against the Cougars at home on Tuesday. This marked the team’s fifth straight loss and put Meade County 5-6 into the season.

Canon Decker led Meade County with 18 points. Casey Turner added 11 points. Dylan Abell and Grant Beavin followed with eight points each. Trent Knoop brought in six points, just ahead of Cooper Crump with four points. Cam Armstead finished with two points.

WASHINGTON COUNTY 60, CENTRAL HARDIN 57. The Bruins lost their third game in a row to the Commanders on Tuesday night.

Landon Elmore finished the game with 18 points. Hayden Ash followed with 16 points. Preston Keith added eight points, just ahead of Brett Decker with seven points. Carter Robinson brought in six points. Logan Nelson scored two points.

Central Hardin (3-7) returns home at 7:30 p.m. Thursday to face Nelson County.

GIRLS BASKET BALL

JOHN HARDIN 70, GRAYSON COUNTY 42. The Lady Bulldogs won their second game in a row and their third game of the season overall at home against the Lady Cougars on Tuesday.

Destini McAllister led the team with 18 points. Jayden Young followed with 17 points. Sharon Tidwell hit 12 points. Quiona Clay added 10 points. Reana Butler brought in eight points. Kristeen Kettelhake scored three points, just ahead of Janiya Drain with two points.

John Hardin (3-8) travels to North Bullitt at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

BULLITT CENTRAL 39, NORTH HARDIN 34. The Lady Trojans suffered their third straight road defeat to the Lady Cougars on Tuesday.
