Rams, Pechanga Resort On line casino accomplice with LA Regional Meals Financial institution to supply vacation meals to extra that 8,000zero Angelenos in want

* LOS ANGELES – (December 23, 2020) – * More than 8,000 people from the greater Los Angeles area celebrate the holidays with nutritious food thanks to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Los Angeles Rams and Pechanga Resort Casino. At the third food distribution event at SoFi Stadium during the 2020 NFL season, the Rams and LA Regional Food Bank partnered with Pechanga to provide holiday meals of frozen chicken, oranges, potatoes, and a shelf-stable kit for families in need. Each vehicle that passed through the non-contact grocery store also received face masks and bottles of hand sanitizer in personal size. Rams cheerleaders, Rampage, front office staff, and volunteers all helped load meal sets in a socially detached and safe manner.

“Tens of thousands of Angelenos are suffering from the pain caused by this pandemic,” said Jared Munoa, president of Pechanga Development Corporation. “Our tribe knows adversity. We are grateful to offer a little help and hopefully some joy this holiday season.”

The initiative was part of the Rams’ 3rd Annual Community Blitz Day of Service, where the team works with community partners during the vacation to conduct volunteer efforts in the greater Los Angeles area.

“The Rams are proud to work with community partners like Pechanga and the LA Regional Food Bank to provide food to more than 2,000 families during this holiday season,” said Lexi Vonderlieth, Rams vice president of partnership marketing. “Together, we’ve brightened the holidays for neighbors getting into tough times as the number of households struggling with food insecurity continues to rise in Los Angeles during the COVID-19 pandemic.”

“This is the third distribution in the new SoFi stadium in collaboration with our long-term partners, the LA Rams. Between all three events, more than 7,000 families will have received the healthy food they need,” said the president of the LA Regional Food Bank and CEO Michael Flood “We thank the LA Rams and Pechanga Resort Casino for working together on this event to provide food to the community.”
