Search Continues For Gunman Who Shattered Windshield Of LAPD Automobile In Pacoima – CBS Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – The search for a shooter is on after an LAPD car was shot dead while officers were on patrol in Pacoima.

The incident took place on Osbourne Street and Osbourne Place at around 7pm on Saturday. Back then, police officers were on patrol when shots were fired.

Police say the patrol car’s windshield was broken, but none of the officers inside were injured. A large group of officers arrived and searched the area for hours. Community residents were concerned.

“Right now there is a lot going on with the pandemic and everything,” said Joanna Vargas, a resident. “We just need to get our lives back. This is too much.”

Police say it is unclear where the shots came from. The shooter remains at large.
