SNCO Well being Division points new order for sports activities and athletic actions

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Shawnee County’s Interim Health Officer, Dr. Dennis Cooley, has made new changes to the local requirements for sports and sports activities.

The ordinance allows sports and athletic activities as long as it follows the rules of social distancing and crowd gathering. The spectators of the events should also follow the rules for gathering crowds.

The order also holds the limit of players in the event of a combined 25 between the two teams.

Wearing a mask is mandatory if the person is not participating in the competition.

The order remains in effect until February 26, 2021, 11:59 p.m.
