GRAND JUNCTION, Colorado (KKCO) – The Western Colorado health system recently delivered its 10,000th vaccine to eligible rural veterans.
“Our common goal was to give the vaccine to as many eligible veterans (and now others) who wish to receive it, and to do so as soon as possible,” said Executive Director Richard W. Salgueiro. “I’m incredibly proud of our vaccination team, who use these vaccines in such an incredibly time-sensitive manner. We are now recognized as the area leader in vaccination delivery and this is thanks to the unwavering dedication of the Western Colorado health system team. “
