Well being district presents free COVID-19 testing in Camden | Native Information

The Coastal Health District will offer free COVID-19 testing twice a week in St. Marys starting Tuesday.

Tests will be available by appointment at the Camden County Health Department on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

“Testing is an important public health tool during an outbreak and, unfortunately, we are seeing a huge increase in COVID-19 cases in the Camden County area,” said Dr. Lawton Davis, eight-county health director for the Coastal Health District.

“Identifying cases can help us slow the spread of disease. We want to make it easier for Camden County residents to get tested if they are sick and want to know if it’s COVID or because they have been exposed and are in quarantine.

Public health tests are free and results are usually available within 24 to 36 hours.

Free COVID-19 testing is also available every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday by appointment with the Glynn County Health Department.

Appointments for COVID-19 tests for the Glynn and Camden sites can be made online at https://covid19.dph.ga.gov/ or by calling the COVID-19 test call center at 912-230-9744 Monday through Thursday 8: 00 o’clock to be agreed. 5 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
