Windy and heat for Sunday
What we are tracking:
- Windy conditions Sunday
- Warm up
- Chance of rain later next week
Winds will stay 10-15 miles per hour from the south tonight, keeping temperatures on the milder side, falling only into the upper 30s and lower 40s.
The sunny skies are expected to remain for Sunday, with temperatures warming slightly into the lower 70s. Heightened fire concerns will also remain throughout the day as we keep an eye on the dry and much more airy conditions. Winds will rise to 20-25 miles per hour by the afternoon, with gusts of up to 35 miles per hour possible.
Looking ahead to the coming work week, temperatures will fluctuate at least in the middle of the week around the lower 1970s, with strong southern breezes expected every day. This will of course help to reinforce the warmer air.
We’ll stay dry at the beginning of the week before our next system moves on Wednesday, which is our next best chance of seeing some rain and even the possibility of thunderstorms. We’ll cool down a bit for Thursday and Friday.
